At MCDG, we like to give back. That’s why, every year, we set aside a small portion of MCDG sign up fees to support a non-profit in the Nashville area.
For 2023, we have chosen to support the Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE). NICE is a refugee resettlement and social services agency for New Americans in Nashville, TN. Their mission is to ensure refugees and immigrants achieve their full potential now and for generations to come. They do this by walking alongside Nashville’s new neighbors from the moment they arrive at the airport through their journey to self-sufficiency, providing resources and opportunities to prosper in their new community.
Since disc golf is a lifetime activity perfect for all ages, socioeconomic statuses, and abilities, we believe NICE and MCDG will be able to use the sport of disc golf as a way to facilitate and welcome refugees and immigrants into our Nashville community.
